On this lovely holiday, I want to send out all my love to each and every single one of my followers! I know it has been AGES since I last posted anything on this blog and I know I said I was going to be more active but… I fail at all my goals. *Hangs head*
Nevertheless, I wanted to show all of you my appreciation and my love for sticking with this blog even though I have not been online in… I think… two months? Anyway, since life is calming down now, more so than ever it would seem, I truly believe that THIS TIME I will be able to post more Japanese lessons as well as other language related content. I have a whole bunch of post ideas that I am just DYING to throw out at you guys. <333 I swear to you and to myself that I WILL do this, dammit!
*Coughs* So… thank you. All of you. You have no idea how hard it has been for me these past few months so… coming back… and seeing all of the new followers I gained during my absence… really means a lot to me. I’ve disappeared again. My apologies. So many things have come to pass in this past week and a half. I got sick. I’m back in school. I had to go Christmas shopping. Cleaned up my place, which was seriously dying because I’ve been so busy. Reading books so I can write reviews. Spending time with my friend because she seriously needed someone. And now… I’m just so tired that I didn’t even want to study Japanese because of how hectic everything is. I haven’t even LOOKED at anything Japanese related in the past week. *Sighs* My brain… the pain… ow…
However, things have started to calm down some! You know what that means? Oh, yeah! It means I can finally start studying Japanese again! I feel like it’s been so long! I’m excited! *Flails* I still have a ton of school work to do that has nothing to do with Japanese (I’m becoming a insurance specialist, i.e. learning stuff about medical billing and coding… so… I guess it has something to do with language what with all the medical terminology and all that) but that’s not going to stop me and updating this blog!
I’m going to brush up on what I last learned and the next lessons will be posted tomorrow! Hopefully, updates and lessons will be posted more frequently. I am determined to NOT let this blog fail! >:3 Again, sorry for the wait. December is always a busy month for me. Well, it’s a busy month for everyone, isn’t it? So I ask for your patience and your understanding. Thanks in advance. I’ll see you all tomorrow!

Hello, learners! Today I am bringing to you guys a small clip of Michael Erard who discusses what it’s like for the hyperpolyglots (or people who can speak more than six languages) when they are learning a new language. I find it to be extremely fascinating since it deals with languages so I just wanted to share it with you.
I plan to buy his book sometime in the future. Once I do and have finished reading it, I will make sure to write a post about that and tell you what I think and if it’s a good read. So, I hope you enjoy and I’ll see you tomorrow.

Since I am unable to post a lesson today, I thought it would be nice for me to answer this question after having it since I started this blog. These are all my study materials. Not only Japanese books but Spanish, French, and history! I own more (some books for studying Italian) but… they are stuffed in the closet and if you think this picture is dark (which I am sorry about… I just have very poor lighting in my room) then you would definitely think my closet is dark. I am truly sorry you guys! I am! Life really kicked in. With three birthdays to celebrate, my own birthday, Thanksgiving, and preparing for school… I just couldn’t get online at all. I really am sorry for that. I had so many things going on at once… it was INSANE!!! Annnnnnnd I didn’t even warn you guys. *Slaps self* Forgive me!
However, I am back now! So I wanted to let you guys know that lessons will begin on a regular basis starting tomorrow. (It’s after midnight where I live so… in just a few hours!) I will be posting up lesson five, which will continue the school theme but that’s all I’m going to say for now. ^_^ I’m going to keep you all in suspense. >:3 (Not really… I just haven’t written up the lesson yet. XD)
I also want to thank all my new followers! I now have over 100!!!! Man, guys! You are all so awesome! Not too long ago, I was saying thank you for 50 followers! I don’t know what to say except thank you. I’m glad you are all enjoying your lessons and care enough to follow me. I am looking forward to helping you all through motivation and perseverance! It’s no trouble at all. I understand how that could be upsetting to you. I meant no offense by it. I was merely fooling around but this does bring up another issue and I’m going to write it out and let all my followers know because I don’t feel the need to lie or hide myself from you guys
I do, in fact, have OCD. It runs together with my anorexia. I obsess over every little thing that’s around me, including my weight. I know these are major issues with myself and for society as a whole and I am not trying to excuse myself for what I’ve done. I just wanted to let you know that even though I say things, it doesn’t necessarily mean I am talking down to people who suffer from these illnesses. Why would I do that when I myself have them? I’m just the type of person that plays what she has lightly so as to not make myself feel bad. It’s how I cope with my illness. I don’t know why I do it. I just do. In any case, I’ll try to chose my words more carefully so as to not offend anyone else. Thank you for your message, Anon, and I’m sorry for offending you.
Anyway, my apologies, learners. I wasn’t planning on making this such a dreary post as it came out to be. But I did feel the need to address this Anon seeing as how I might have upset him/her. So, I’ll just end it here and let you guys get back to your studying.
